Therapeutic goals for diabetic glycemic control in adults is a hemoglobin A1c of 8.0%, the ADA suggests reevaluation of the treatment regimen. The testing method used is NGSP certified and is standardized to the Diabetes Control and Complication Trial (DCCT) reference method.
